If you're looking for an Easter church service in Canberra, we’d love to welcome you to Divergent Church. Join us for our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services as we celebrate the hope of Easter together.

 

Easter is a time of hope, new beginnings, and celebration, and it’s the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and connect with God. Whether this is your first visit or you’ve been with us before, everyone is invited to join our community.

Good Friday Service: Friday 3rd April, 9:30 am

Location: The Upper Room, 2 Akuna Street, Canberra City ACT 2600

 

Easter Sunday Service: Sunday 5th April, 10:30 am​

Location: ANU Birch Building, 35 Science Rd, Acton ACT 2601

Our Regular Services

If you’re new to Divergent Church Canberra, we gather each week across multiple locations in Canberra and Queanbeyan. These regular services are a time for worship, teaching, and community as we grow in our faith together.

Once a month, we also come together as a whole church for a combined gathering.

Who is Jesus?

 

Jesus isn’t just a figure from history. He’s God’s Son, who came to show us what God’s love looks like and to offer us hope. He lived, died, and rose again so that anyone who trusts Him can have a real relationship with God and experience life to the fullest.

 
Why Did Jesus Die?

 

Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate act of love. He took the punishment for our mistakes and offered forgiveness so we could be free from guilt, shame, and fear. Easter celebrates His resurrection - proof that death doesn’t have the final word and a promise of new life for everyone who believes.
