Who We Are
Divergent Church Canberra is a local Christian church serving communities across north Canberra, including Belconnen, Gungahlin, and Queanbeyan. You can learn more about us at Understanding Divergent Church.
Our church in the Canberra region is led by Noah Little, each local gathering however has its own local leadership team who are passionate about helping people explore faith, understand the Bible, and find genuine community.
We are part of the broader Pentecostal evangelical Christian tradition, grounded in the Bible and centred on the person of Jesus. We know the word Pentecostal can triggering for some but if you have time have a read of what we mean when we say this at "What is a Pentecostal Church?"
What started as a small gathering has grown into a community of people from many different backgrounds, united by a shared desire to follow Jesus and live out faith together in everyday life.

Our Story: Divergent Church Canberra
Divergent Church began with a heart to be a Church that loved "Our Neighbours and Nations". It has always been a vision for vibrant community on mission, not a vision for a mega-thing or even a rebellion against such, more a pursuit of Jesus in community.
What started as a small gathering in 2007 has grown into a community across Canberra, with people from different backgrounds exploring faith, building relationships, and learning what it means to follow Jesus together.
For us, church has never been about attending a service.
It’s about being part of a community on mission, a group of people learning to live out the way of Jesus in everyday life.
