Gatherings Across Canberra
We meet in multiple locations across Canberra City, North Canberra (Belconnen), and Queanbeyan with Sunday services and mid-week Life Communities in homes, cafés, and local spaces where friendships grow and faith gets lived out.

Sunday 7th December
No Services
This weekend, Divergent Church will not be meeting at our usual locations in Canberra or Queanbeyan, as we’ll be away for our beach getaway in Wollongong. If you’re not joining us for the weekend, we’d still love for you to be part of our Baptism Service on Sunday at 10:30am at Bellambi Lagoon, Corrimal Beach, Wollongong.
We hope you can join us there to celebrate!

Divergent Church Canberra is a family of churches passionate about following Jesus and living out His teachings in everyday life. We believe church isn't just a Sunday event—it’s a community of people expressing God's love and character in daily life.
Whether you're single, a couple, have kids, are new to Canberra, or exploring faith for the first time, Divergent is a welcoming place to discover the message of Jesus.

Our Heart for Canberra
We love this city and the people in it—from workplaces and universities to families and retirees. Our mission is to bring the hope, love, and message of Jesus into homes, schools, cafés and neighbourhoods.

Our Church Family
Divergent Church is part of the Australian Christian Churches / Assemblies of God in Australia movement. We partner with other Canberra churches to serve the city and reflect Jesus’ kingdom.
Christmas
This Christmas, we're excited to come together for a special Christmas ONE Service on Sunday, 21st December at 10:27am at the Upper Room (2 Akuna Street, Canberra City).
It's a joyful time to celebrate the birth of Jesus as a church family, and we'd love for you to join us.
We also know Christmas can feel lonely for some, so every year people from our community generously open their homes.
If you need somewhere to spend Christmas or don't have family or friends in Canberra, please reach out, we'd love to help connect you with a welcoming home for the day.
